Jack Layton, Good Luck!

Since recently finding out about NDP Leader, Jack Layton’s diagnosis of prostate cancer, I have sent a letter to him on behalf of the PPCA wishing him the best in his treatment. Over the years Jack has fought for civil liberties and for the “little guy”, for this, the PPCA salutes him, and hopes that he will continue to fight hard for the rights of Canadians while he fights and beats this horrible disease.

More on membership cards…

For those of you who haven’t read the “Membership cards!” thread (Jan 22nd 2010), this is an update to it. We’re going to press our cards once we have 175+ names on list. Overall, we’re looking to have 500 cards pressed for this first edition of the PPCA’s membership cards.

We are also in talks of offering unique card layouts. That is, batch #2 might not have the same layout as batch #1. For more on this, check out the membership card thread off the forum section.

Reintroducing membership fees.

It has been decided that the membership fees be restored. Therefore starting now we’re asking our supporters to help us build some funds which will be used for legal means, hosting fees and numerous other non-profitable things that are mandatory for the party’s existance.

By paying the 10$ membership fee, we will send you a dual-sided membership card w/ your name on it.

Hrrrr, fellow pirates!

We’re kicking the year w/ an exciting news! The PPCA now is officially recognized as a Non-Profit Corporation. Simply put, that means we’ll be able to finally start working w/ donations and work w/ Paypal to get the pending funds. Look for bright investments from your favorite political party sometimes in the near future…
